For the photographer Scotland is easy on the eye. It may be a small country, but it’s a BIG small country. Within its borders lies some wonderful scenery, a landscape peppered with castles and ancient monuments, each with a culture and story to tell. But Scotland is also a very urban society, of towns and big cities, where most Scots live.
These photographs are the result of my own wanderings, or ‘stravaigs’, around Scotland, and some of the places, events, people (and pets!), encountered along the way. Much may be familiar, some hopefully less so. Depicted are locations throughout Scotland, with an emphasis around Strathclyde, plus my particular interest in environmental issues. This is my ‘take’ on Scotland – the good, the bad, and the cuddly.
